What the site is

FBARTally provides tools and information for general guidance. Results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and on stated assumptions. They are not professional advice (engineering, medical, legal, financial or otherwise). Always verify with a qualified professional and with your local regulations before relying on them.

What the site is not

The tools find the highest balance in the statement files you load, convert it at the Treasury Reporting Rate of Exchange for December 31 of the year and round it as FinCEN's instructions say, each rule cited with its date. The results help you prepare your FBAR: they are not a filed FBAR, not tax, legal or accounting advice, and not an official FinCEN, IRS or Treasury product. Whether you must file, which accounts count and the values you report are your responsibility; check FinCEN's instructions or a qualified professional. FBARTally is not affiliated with FinCEN, the IRS, the US Treasury, Wise or any bank.

Where we quote published figures we name the source and the date we read it; sources change and we do not guarantee that they are current. You are responsible for checking any figure before you act on it.

Purchases

Paid products are sold through our merchant of record, Stripe (Managed Payments), under its terms of sale. Where a product is offered as early access, the delivery date is stated next to the button and our refund policy applies.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful. We may block access that harms the service.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Softmed Labs SRL is not liable for losses arising from reliance on the results or from interruptions of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
